The Great Urban Race - 2010

Bloomington-Normal was proud to host the first ever campus version of the Great Urban Race!  The Great Urban Race was founded by an Illinois State University alum and has found success in 20 major cities across the U.S.  The race will be returning for Homecoming 2010. 

Details available:

• Sunday, October 17, packet pick-up begins at 11 a.m.
• Starting location: Fat Jacks, Bloomington
• A portion of the registration fee will go towards supporting the Alumni Association Scholarship
• $40 per person before Sept. 20, 2010, $50 per person before 5 p.m. on Oct. 16, 2010, or $60 per person on race day
• Registration is open, sign up today!
  

Prizes:

• 1st Place: $300 and free Championship entry
• 2nd Place: $200 and free Championship entry
• 3rd Place: $100 and free Championship entry
• 4th-25th Place: National Championship qualifier medal
• Best Costume
• Top Family Team
• St. Jude Challenge Winners:  The first team to cross the finish line with at least one teammate wearing a St. Jude Heroes cape will win a prize.
• St. Jude Top Fundraising Winners:  The team with the highest fundraising total will win a prize and automatically qualify for the 2010 Great Urban Race National Championship.
